The cryptocurrency market continued to essentially march sideways today, with the top ten coins generally moving downward from one to three percent over the last 24 hours.
Bitcoin was back at the $7,500 per single coin mark after a brief flirtation with a gain of just under two percent. Other cryptos also had brief green arrows before price retreats kicked in, keeping the overall market in a narrow range.

The highest price seen was $7,904.85 on the Livecoin exchange at 3:25 pm yesterday. Livecoin saw $14,215,300 of bitcoin change hands.
The lowest price seen was $7,316.27 on CoinsBank’s exchange at 1:01 pm yesterday. CoinsBank’s 24 hour volume was $16,342,400.
The average price on the surveyed exchanges, as weighed by volume, was $7,609.84.
Volatility was lower than average, with the BlockTribune Volatility Index coming in at 37.7. A higher number indicates greater price volatility with 50 describing an average day.
These statistics were consolidated from 13 different exchanges. It includes only BTC/USD trades and only on those exchanges that had at least 1% of the total volume of BTC/USD trades during the measurement period.
