Investing, News | January 11, 2018 By:

The digital currency markets cooled today, as crackdown news from South Korea and, perhaps, some profit-taking contributed to a slight decline.

At mid-morning, bitcoin stool in the high $13,000 per single coin range, down from the $15,000 levels on Wednesday. That dragged down everything else, with ethereum’s ETH at $1,230 (a seven percent drop) and Bitcoin Cash at $2597, about a four percent plunge over the last 24 hours. Litecoin was also down, with Ripple XRP up less than a percent as the day’s lone outlier among the bigger cryptocurrencies.
