Bitcoin continued to hold at the $8,000 per single coin level today, rising as high as $8,300 on some exchanges. But the big news was in Bitcoin Cash, which once again appears to be taking off, climbing close to 10 percent in the last 24 hours and now sitting at the $1,300 per single coin level.

The lowest price seen was $7,900.00 on BTCC’s exchange at 12:24 am today. BTCC’s 24 hour volume was $65,286,400.
The average price on the surveyed exchanges, as weighed by volume, was $8,184.46.
Volatility was lower than average, with the BlockTribune Volatility Index coming in at 41.4. A higher number indicates greater price volatility with 50 describing an average day.
