Blockchain Firm BTL Group Announces Key Hires As It Prepares To Market Interbitbr>
Canadian blockchain firm BTL Group has hired Stella Hall as Head of Marketing and Jonathan Jones as Business Development Manager. Both join as the company commences a sales and marketing drive to bring to market Interbit, a blockchain platform.
Operating from Canada and the UK, BTL offers blockchain solutions to businesses across multiple industries, focusing on the finance, energy, and gaming sectors. The company’s Interbit platform automates many back office processes – including confirmations, actualizations, invoice generation, settlement, audit, reporting and regulatory compliance – allowing enterprises to significantly reduce risk, costs, and the threat of cyber-attack, as well as increasing their trading opportunities.
“Stella and Jonathan have impressive experience and I believe they are a perfect fit with both diverse, but relevant technology backgrounds,” said BTL CEO Dominic McCann. “I warmly welcome them to the team and look forward to working with them to ensure that we achieve widespread adoption of the Interbit platform.”
Hall joins in London with over ten year’s marketing experience, having previously been at Salesforce in both San Francisco and London. Hall is a strategic marketer with enterprise growth experience for leading global brands. She has focused on creating, developing, and nurturing marketing programs.
Jones is a qualified engineer with commercial and sales experience. Prior to joining BTL, Jones worked at the Mullard Space Science Laboratory (MSSL) for over three years, where he collaborated with international organizations and agencies, with responsibilities that included building instruments for both scientific and commercial space projects. Jones’s understanding of spacecraft subsystems has meant he has worked on some high-profile space missions, such as the European Space Agency’s ExoMars Rover and NASA’s THOR TEA project.
BTL said the company is on track to deliver Interbit in early 2018 and is well-advanced in developing its sales and marketing strategy.
