The bitcoin frenzy of the last week has crashed Coinbase’s servers yet again, marking the sixth time in the last six months the largest US cryptocurrency exchange has gone down as large numbers of investors rush to take advantage of opportunities.

Users attempting to log-in got the following message this morning:

“An Error Has Occurred. Don’t worry, we’ve been notified about the issue and are taking a look. Please try again in a few minutes, or if the problem persists feel free to add a Bug Report. Sorry for the trouble!”

Bitcoin has jumped past the $16,000 mark as of this morning, rising more than 25 percent in the last 24 hours. It has blown past the $13,000 through $15,000 marks in just the last two days.
