Coinvest has added to their team of advisors, naming Tony Scott, CEO of the Tony Scott Group, Pete Cashmore, the founder of Mashable, and Kendrick Nguyen, CEO of investment platform Republic, to the board.

Coinvest is a decentralized investment trading market for cryptocurrencies, empowering anyone to virtually invest in individual or a curated index of crypto assets through one wallet and coin. The company’s mission is to democratize cryptocurrencies and bring them to the masses by creating decentralized tools for the world to seamlessly invest and spend cryptonized assets.

“We are delighted and honored to have Tony, Pete, and Kendrick join as advisors to Coinvest,” said Damon Nam, founder and CEO of Coinvest. “As pioneers in their respective industries, each leader brings a wealth of expertise in many different areas related to our business. Their knowledge and experience are invaluable to Coinvest.”

Coinvest recently closed its private whitelist offering, which they claim was oversubscribed with more than 1500 registrants and nearly 4x the targeted maximum cap of $3 million. It now moves to its public crowdsale starting Feb. 16, seeking an additional $30 million.

Today, he leads the Tony Scott Group, which provides IT consulting and advisory services.
