Cryptocurrency Liquidity Provider B2C2 Names Three As Advisors

Cryptocurrency liquidity provider B2C2 has appointed Peter Nielsen, Ruth Wandhöfer and Phil Weisberg as members of its advisory board.

Nielsen is a senior financial markets executive and board member with over 30 years’ experience in leading and advising global sales and trading and investment management businesses.  Advisory positions and investments span the areas of global payments, cryptocurrency, automated trading and portfolio management. Previously, he was CEO of Markets in the investment bank at RBS.  Prior to RBS, Peter spent ten years at Bank of America and Citibank. He has served on numerous public and private boards and industry bodies, including AFME, GFMA and Bank of England committees.  A graduate of Pomona College in Claremont, California, he has a Masters in Finance from the University of New South Wales, Sydney.

Ruth Wandhöfer is a regulatory and fintech expert. Managing director and global head of regulatory and market strategy at Citi, she also chairs numerous industry bodies and serves on several associations and expert groups. Ruth is non-executive director at Pendo Systems, a US data analytics company, a member of the advisory board of Coinfirm, a blockchain AML and risk analytics firm, and a founding member of the Global Blockchain Business Alliance.  Currently pursuing a PhD on blockchain/DLT and financial market infrastructure at CASS Business School, London, she is also fintech fellow and lecturer at the Centre for Global Finance and Technology, Imperial College Business School, London and fellow lecturer at Queen Mary London School of Law.

Phil Weisberg has led companies through start-up, strategic investment, capital raising, M&A, public offerings and turnaround.  He founded FXall, the leading B2B foreign exchange platform that he grew to over USD125 million in revenue and 1,300-plus customers. Following a successful IPO and subsequent sale to Thomson Reuters, Phil led their multi-billion dollar FX, rates and credit business.  Previously, he was managing director, global FX derivatives trading at JPMorgan. He has participated in key industry groups including the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and Bank of England FX committees.  Phil holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from The Cooper Union and an MBA in Finance and International Business from NYU.
