Esports betting platform Unikrn has announced that its UnikoinGold token is now available on crypto exchange OKEx.

Founded in 2014 by gaming industry veterans Rahul Sood and Karl Flores, Unikrn has offices in Berlin, Seattle, Sydney, and Las Vegas. Unikrn analyzes e-sports and data to deliver betting products across multiple countries around the world, and they also provide their users with the opportunity to win rewards.

In October, 2017, Unikrn raised roughly $31 million in an initial coin offering (ICO) of UnikoinGold, an ethereum-based version of its existing coin, Unikoin. UnikoinGold allow users to legally and fully engage in live betting with cryptocurrency.

The company also received a gambling license from the Maltese Gaming Authority last year. The license allows the company to expand its skill and spectator betting applications across Europe.

OKex is a global crypto exchange with a strong presence in Asia. Unikrn said the exchange will help in expanding the company’s reach to users worldwide. Sood said that esports and video games have completely blown up, and their customers are now using their Unikoins in over 100 countries.

“Across Asia, Europe and North America, interested users now have the best options available in their regions to access UnikoinGold,” said Sood. “Our team takes pride in working alongside exchanges we’ve vetted, and OKex is clearly among the best in the world.”

OKEx CEO Chris Lee said they welcome UnikoinGold and their community as the company continue on its quest to best serve its users.

“We are excited to provide another trading option to our users,” Lee said. “Our teams have been focused on bringing online new tokens and futures, and it’s great to see our efforts pay off.”
