ZenCash has partnered with software research and development company Infopulse to develop a treasury voting system that will enable ZenCash holders to make decisions on community proposals.

ZenCash is a privacy coin for decentralized and borderless transactions and communications. ZenCash has set a cap of 21 million total tokens that can be created in the system in lieu of a pre-mine or token crowdsale. In addition, ZenCash is treasury-funded, with 8.5% of mining rewards allocated to support project development.

Based in Ukraine, Infopulse specializes in application management and IT infrastructure management, software research and development, software maintenance and ITO. The company also offers Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services, application packaging services, development of mobile applications and software as well as IT consulting services. It serves clients in automotive, banking and finance, telecommunications, government, healthcare, insurance, manufacturing and other industries and subcategories.

Under the partnership, the two companies will work together to develop a voting system that will give the Zen community an active role in the network’s development and offer transparency into the allocation of funds. The objective is to help improve community participation in decision-making for the ZenCash network. ZenCash and Infopulse are currently stress testing a prototype of the treasury voting system, with active voters participating in theoretical proposals.

“Infopulse’s software development expertise will prove invaluable to ZenCash as we develop our treasury voting system, one of the flagship features of the Zen platform,” said ZenCash Co-founder Robert Viglione.

In addition, Infopulse will also assist ZenCash in the development implementation of various critical projects such as scaling protocols, domain fronting, and distributed file storage.

“Infopulse’s technical insights will also inform future projects and help us make critical updates to ZenCash,” said Viglione. “With Infopulse’s record of building innovative and sustainable software solutions, we are confident that this partnership will keep ZenCash on the bleeding edge of research and development in the blockchain space.”

The collaboration with Infopulse builds on a partnership between ZenCash and blockchain engineering company IOHK. ZenCash and Infopulse is planning to implement a custom model of IOHK’s reference treasury model, which IOHK has been developing in collaboration with Lancaster University Professor Bingsheng Zhang.
