A strong bull run lifted all cryptocurrencies to kick off 2018. Bitcoin was up five percent to $14,000, Ripple XRP continued its incredible run and is now at $2.45, while ethereum was up nearly 20 percent to top $925.

Bitcoin Cash was also booming, up more than 16 percent, and Litecoin recovered from a recent slump to hit $254.

The rise in values came after several days of sideways or down trading over the New Year’s holiday, and augers well for the coming year.
