Seattle-based e-sports betting platform Unikrn has raised $15 million in a token pre-sale whose customers included Mark Cuban, Brock Pierce, Blockchain Capital, Pantera Capital, and CoinCircle, the latter the deal platform for the public sale. The public Unikrn initial coin offering (ICO) opened September 23.
Founded in 2014 by gaming industry veterans Rahul Sood and Karl Flores, Unikrn has offices in Berlin, Seattle, Sydney, and Las Vegas. Unikrn analyzes e-sports and data to deliver betting products across multiple countries around the world, and they also provide their users with the opportunity to win rewards.
UnikoinGold tokens, which are exclusive to its skill-based betting platform, is designed as a decentralized token on the ethereum platform, which means that it can be bought, sold and traded on digital currency exchanges that deal with ethereum.
The Seattle-based company partnered with CoinCircle for the ICO and plans to sell $100 million worth of UnikoinGold tokens. Unikrn will use the money raised from the ICO to help fund the growth of its business.
“With significant interest demonstrated through the private sale and growing interest among the cryptocurrency community, we’re confident the UnikoinGold token sale will reach its $100million cap,” said Unikrn CEO Rahul Sood.
