Japanese electronics retailer Bic Camera will start accepting bitcoin at all of its locations in the country this month.

Bic Camera Group consists of three separate brands, Bic Camera, Sofmap, and Kojima. Together, the group has 39 Bic Camera stores, 31 Sofmap stores, and 139 Kojima stores. This makes the group the second-largest electronics retail outlet chain in Japan, according to the Japan Times.

The company began accepting bitcoin at certain Tokyo stores in April, following the government’s recognition of the digital currency. The company partnered with Japanese bitcoin exchange bitFlyer to allow bitcoin payments in two Bic Camera stores. The more-than-expected popularity of this option prompted Bic Camera to expand the system to the rest of its locations.

The company said it will also start taking bitcoin at some outposts of its subsidiary Kojima, which are typically found in the suburbs.
