Matthew Chang Joins Blockchain’s Distributed Credit Chain (DCC) As Advisor

Distributed Credit Chain (DCC), a Hong Kong-based blockchain company developing a distributed banking public chain, has appointed Matthew Chang, Managing Director at KKR, as an advisor to the project. As part of his role within DCC, Chang will provide strategic counsel and lend expertise in finance and consulting.

Distributed Credit Chain is a distributed banking public chain with a goal to establish a decentralized ecosystem for financial service providers around the world. DCC’s mission is to accomplish financial inclusion and empower individuals with their credit and financial histories.

With over 20 years of experience advising a wide range of companies such as start-ups, multinational corporations, and professional service firms in Mainland China, Europe and North America, Chang is considered a leading expert in the areas of private equity, fixed income, and capital markets. Prior to his current position as the Managing Director at KKR Shanghai, Chang was the Head of KKR Capstone in China. He also served as a global senior partner at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, leading its Asian operations and restructuring practice.

Earlier in his career, Chang was Managing Director at AlixPartners in China, Associate principal at McKinsey, and Director of Strategy at Diageo PLC for the Asian market. Chang has an M.B.A. degree from IMD International and an undergraduate degree in mathematics and physics from Coe College and New York State University.
