Global financial technology provider Synechron will be joining the Misys InFusion Partner Program.

Misys, provider of software solutions to financial services institutions, launched its InFusion Partner Program in 2014. Misys claims that its solutions are used by some of the world’s leading global financial institutions including 48 of the world’s 50 largest banks.

Under the agreement, Synechron will develop two Centers of Excellence focused on capital markets and corporate banking to support clients across the United States, Europe, Middle East and India.

The capital markets sites will cover the Misys FusionCapital suite of products for treasury and capital markets. Corporate banking will include the Misys FusionBanking solutions in lending and transaction banking.

“Misys is a leading global financial software company, and we are impressed by its ability to offer the broadest and deepest portfolio of financial software on the market,” said Faisal Husain, Synechron CEO and Co-founder. “We have worked on several projects using FusionCapital technologies and have been inspired by the company’s open and componentized software. Synechron is eager to grow its experience with integrating Misys solutions across our shared clients. We are sure that this partnership will be beneficial not only for both companies, but for our clients.”

Last week, Synechron launched demo versions of three blockchain accelerator apps on Microsoft Azure. The applications will explore industry use cases, including trade finance, Know Your Customer (KYC), margin call management, insurance claims processing, mortgage financing and processing, and global payments.
