AMD Graphic Card Sales Continue To Slidebr>
The great crypto mining boom appears to be over. AMD, one of the leading sellers of graphics cards to cryptocurrency miners, says its sales in the third quarter accounted for just a “high single digit percentage,” continuing a downward trend from previous quarters.
The news follows quarters were gaming fans were complaining that they couldn’t get the graphics cards because too many miners were snapping them up, some in bulk.
AMD’S computing and graphics revenue was down 14 percent from the second quarter, albeit reflecting again on year-to-year sales. In its July quarterly, AMD said it derived six percent of its revenue from selling to miners, down from 10 percent in the first quarter.
