A new Argentinean exchange, SatoshiTango, allows its users to sell bitcoin and withdraw their cash at any RapiPago location in Argentina. The bill-paying service will charge a commission of 1% of the value of the withdrawal, with a minimum of 40 Argentine pesos per transaction.
RapiPago has 4,000 branches distributed throughout the country. The service is in the testing phase and, for now, each withdrawal has a maximum amount of 10,000 Argentine pesos.
“It is important because it allows unbanked people to use the largest network of local (bill paying services) in the country to be able, for example, to receive a payment in bitcoin from abroad for a freelance job, even in the smallest towns in the country,” said Matías Bari, co-founder of SatoshiTango a Cripto247.
In the future, the Argentine exchange expects to expand its services.
“We are integrating other services to be able to offer people to pay in bitcoin directly instead of having to change the bitcoin for fiat money, and for users to pay on their own. What we have today is the bill payment, which works amazing, people sell bitcoin and we pay the bill for their service, the idea is to integrate with more payment networks to offer everything from SatoshiTango.”
