At mid-morning, bitcoin was at $6,100, with ethereum at $475 and Bitcoin Cash at $771. Price graphs resembled an airplane being shot out of the sky.
Pundits now fear a major bear market, with some predicting price plunges as low as $5,000 per single coin over the weekend. The top ten coins were all down between six and twelve percent on the morning, and momentum was decidedly on the down slope. Buckle up.
