Bitcoin Falls Below $8,000 While XRP And Ethereum Continue Upward Surgebr>
The cryptocurrency markets are reporting mixed signals today, with some of the top ten coins continuing to register double digit gains.
The price of bitcoin is down 1.18% over the past 24 hours, and is trading at $7,991. During yesterday’s sessions, the most popular coin climbed to an intraday high of $8,268 before dropping to as low as $7,696.
Ripple’s XRP has continued to register double digit gains following reports that crypto exchange Coinbase launched XRP trading for New York residents. In early trading, the third largest coin by market cap is up 15.75% at $0.436553 per coin.
The other top ten coins showing double digit gains are Ethereum (10.73%), Stellar (10.70%) and Cardano (10.53%).
