Blockchain Firm TigerWit Appoints Gareth Derbyshire As Chief Compliance Officerbr>
FinTech firm TigerWit Limited has appointed Gareth Derbyshire as their Chief Compliance Officer.
Headquartered in the UK, TigerWit is committed to changing the industry through disruption for the benefit of traders, by bringing innovative trading solutions, such as a pioneering blockchain-based settlement in the form of its distributed trading ledger and providing access to key global markets to trade on FX, indices, commodities and metals.
Derbyshire has 20 years of regulatory and compliance experience across financial services, including banking, accounting and retail derivatives. He worked for the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) earlier in his career and moved into the banking sector during the 2008 banking crisis as Compliance Manager at Norwich and Peterborough Building Society. Derbyshire was also a Senior Manager of Financial Services Risk and Regulation at PwC.
