Blockchain Startup LayerX Teams With Microcsoft To Accelerate Adoption Of Blockchain In Japanbr>
Blockchain startup LayerX is collaborating with Microsoft Japan to promote the use of blockchain technology in the local economy.
Based in Japan, LayerX is a joint venture between news app Gunosy and initial coin offering (ICO) consulting firm AnyPay. The startup provides blockchain-related services such as smart contract development, consulting and auditing, token feasibility, design and implementation, crypto mining, among others.
LayerX’s partnership with Microsoft will see it utilize the tech giant’s Azure Blockchain-as-a-Service (BaaS) solution to introduce the technology to local companies.
“We will support the introduction process in its entirety, even down to technical support of finished implementations,” Microsoft said. “Both companies will work toward realization of transformation of people’s lives and working practices by promoting the implementation of blockchain technology in various industries.”
Japan is commonly known to be a nation that is very open to new technologies. The Japanese government has been encouraging the application blockchain to put the country at the forefront of international technological development. Some industry analysts believe that blockchain would be a great tool to prevent the Japanese market from declining.
