Crypto Markets Wake Up, Start Big Drop At Mid-Daybr>
UPDATE: Well, that was short-lived. The crypto markets woke up from their momentary slumber this weekend and started heading back down. Bitcoin is now below $4,000, down more than 8%, while the top ten coins are plunging anywhere from 5% to as much as 10%.
EARLIER: The cryptocurrency markets continued bouncing along the bottom early this weekend. Given the recent severe price drops, that was good news.
Bitcoin stood at $4,300 per single coin on Saturday, with trading volume low. That is barely moving, and the rest of the market took its cues from the torpor, with even the extremely volatile Bitcoin Cash marching in place.
