Crypto Markets Back In The Red As Bitcoin Fails To Hold $8,700 Support

The cryptocurrency markets have dipped back into the red today. The total crypto market capitalization has dropped more than $9 billion over the past 24 hours – from $278.8 billion to $269.4 billion.

The price of bitcoin dropped below the $8,400 mark on Friday, but managed to surge above the $8,700 level during yesterday’s session. In early trading, the most popular coin has continued to show considerable volatility, dropping 2.56% of its value to trade around $8,504.

The only outlier among the top ten coins is Bitcoin SV (BSV), surging by almost 12 percent over the last 24 hours.
