Crypto Markets’ Christmas Bull Run Fades, Bitcoin Price Drops Below $4,000br>
The cryptocurrency markets’ Christmas rally has come to an end, as traders took profits following a large upsurge on Christmas eve.
In early trading, bitcoin’s price hovers around the $3,700 level after trading as high as $4,271 on December 24. Volume so far has been moderately heavy.
Ripple’s XRP, the second-largest crypto by market cap, has lost over 13% and has been trading as low as $0.37. Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin SV have both shed about 20% in prices in the past 24 hours.
Ether continued its recent surge, up to $128, a gain of close to two percent. Bitcoin Cash and EOS were also gainers in early trading.
