It was quiet in early weekend trading for the cryptocurrency markets. Volume was extremely light and coins moved a tenth of a point into positive gains.
As of mid-day, bitcoin sat at the $6,400 level, up a few tenths over the last 24 hours. The rest of the top ten had similar movement, with Stellar the outlier, moving up more than three and a half percent on its continued momentum on its new exchange.

The highest price seen was $6,711.54 on the Cryptonex exchange at 11:37 am today. Cryptonex saw $40,073,014 of bitcoin change hands.
The lowest price seen was $4,917.76 on BitMart’s exchange at 1:07 pm yesterday. BitMart’s 24 hour volume was $46,064,763.
The average price on the surveyed exchanges, as weighed by volume, was $6,452.70.
Volatility was a bit lower than average, with the BlockTribune Volatility Index coming in at 43.8. A higher number indicates greater price volatility with 50 describing an average day.
These statistics were consolidated from 23 different exchanges. It includes only BTC/USD trades and only on those exchanges that had at least 1% of the total volume of BTC/USD trades during the measurement period.
