Crypto markets were calm today, as a worldwide major religious holiday took some attention away from trading. In early morning, volume was light and prices stagnant, reflecting the lack of activity.
Bitcoin was at the $6,300 level, basically holding serve as it continues in a narrow trading range this week.
Similarly, most of the top ten coins were fairly quiet, with Cardano the early morning leader in trading, up about three percent as it continues to bounce off a recent bottom. Ether was maintaining at $210, continuing its recovery from a recent price dip. Ripple XRP had a huge day yesterday as rumors spread of a big announcement. That was confirmed as the xRapid launch, designed to help banks speed up international transactions using XRP as a bridge.
