Crypto payment platform UTRUST has announced the integration of DASH, a cryptocurrency for payments and e-commerce, into its platform.

Based in Switzerland, UTRUST is a cryptocurrency payment solution designed to modernize the finance and payments industry and solve the problems of traditional payment methods by offering instant transactions, buyer protection, and immediate crypto-to-cash settlements for the merchant.

Dash is an e-commerce and payments-focused cryptocurrency that allows users to make instant payments online or in-store. Dash’s InstantSend feature utilizes transaction locking and masternode consensus to facilitate instantaneous transactions on the Dash blockchain. The company claims that InstantSend allows them to compete with existing centralized payment platforms such as VISA, who offer rapid transaction times. Dash’s InstantSend technology offers this, but in a decentralized and trustless manner.

Expanding the available payment methods to include DASH, alongside bitcoin and Ethereum, UTRUST said that it is providing merchants and consumers with the ability to pay with major cryptocurrencies.

“It’s great to see UTRUST recognising DASH as a major cryptocurrency and integrating us on their platform,” said Jan Heinrich Meyer, CEO of the Dash Embassy. “With a transaction speed of one second and over 15,000 transactions per day, Dash offers a global and highly efficient service. Our aim to drive the adoption of cryptocurrency payments and promote the future of digital assets perfectly aligns with UTRUST’s own mission so we’re pleased to partner with the platform and unite in our common objectives.”

Whow Games, an online social gaming platform with nine million registered users, is the first UTRUST merchant to launch DASH for purchases and cryptocurrency payments.

“We are delighted to expand our ever-growing portfolio of merchants by integrating cryptocurrency payments for Whow Games and their 9 million registered users,” said UTRUST CEO Nuno Correia. “As an industry, online social gaming typically suffers a higher than normal chargeback rate for credit card purchases. Through this partnership, we have a chance to directly tackle chargebacks – a long standing scourge on the payments industry – with crypto payments. Integrating DASH, a highly efficient and user-friendly currency, as a payment option to all UTRUST merchants and their customers is also a hugely positive milestone for us.”
