Crypto Prices Retrace Slightly In Early Tradingbr>
Monday is starting off on a low note in the cryptocurrency markets. As has been typical for the last few weeks, the weekend’s gains have been taken back over the last 24 hours by investors, leaving the markets slightly sagging entering the work week.
At mid-morning, bitcoin sat at $6,500, down slightly from its weekend highs of $6,800. Similarly, the top ten coins were all in retreat in early trading, with losses of two to four percent across the board.
The outlier so far is Ripple’s XRP, which is down nine percent in early trading, a bit of give-back after a huge run-up last week on news of new exchange availability.
