Cryptocurrency In Sargasso Sea Mode, As Markets Remain Stagnantbr>
It was a mixed bag for today’s cryptocurrency markets. While bitcoin sagged as low as $5,700 on at least one exchange, the rest of the market had some winners.
At mid-morning, bitcoin was holding at the $6,100 level. The outliers were EOS, up more than five percent, with Litecoin gaining just over one percent and Ripple getting a fractional gain. These were offset by the rest of the top ten coins, which all were down between fractions and two percent.
There is unease in the market, and barring a black swan, it’s likely to remain stagnant for a while.
