Ethereum is going Hollywood.

Hollywood writer/director/producer Michael Blieden has been hired as a consultant to entertainment gateway and app SingularDTV. Blieden’s best-known work was as a writer for the Late Night with Jimmy Fallon TV talk show. He was nominated for an Emmy in 2011 as part of that writing team.

He also worked on the TV shows Brooklyn Nine-Nine for Fox, Sirens for USA, and Up All Night for NBC, as well as live specials for comedians Zach Galifianakis and Joe Rogan plus music videos for Fiona Apple and Kanye West.

Blieden will receive ethereum tokens for his work with SingularDTV, which is launching what it terms its flagship project in Q2. The project particulars have not been released. The company claims it will be involved in rights management, production and other areas. It has created its own digital wallet and token.  SingularTV’s biggest release to date has been CODE, a structure for tokenized ecosystems based on the ethereum blockchain.

SingularDTV CEO Zach LeBeau welcomed Blieden in a statement. “His experience and energy is extremely valuable and we look forward to great things to come. He’s also a big supporter of Ethereum and even requested to be paid in Ether.”
