Korean Kookmin Bank signs MoU with Circle to develop blockchain solutions

KB Kookmin Bank has announced that it has signed a memorandum of understandings (MoU) with Circle.

According to the report, KB Koomkin has agreed to promote businesses in the blockchain space, while also signing a separate agreement to work on applications for mobile device certification.

“We are excited to work with the top tech companies in London, a hub of the fintech industry. KB Kookmin Bank will strive to provide our customers with new experience by adopting cutting edge technologies,” the South-Korean bank’s representative says.

Kookmin Bank has been working on blockchain solutions since early this year. The banking major first announced its plans to create a blockchain solution for faster and more economical international money transfers in February.

KB Kookmin Bank is one of South Korea’s largest banks. Circle is a UK-based bitcoin startup.
