Securitize, a cloud platform that enables clients to issue security tokens, has launched a new product that will help companies to integrate its crypto compliance solutions.

Founded in 2017, Securitize is a full stack technology and services platform with features and specialized tools for both investors and issuers. Securitize’s Digital Securities Protocol enables seamless, fully compliant trading across multiple markets simultaneously. The company is heavily invested in the overall security token space and actively partners with exchanges, broker-dealers, custodians of crypto, escrow services, and other financial infrastructure for security tokens. The company is backed by Blockchain Capital, Coinbase Ventures, Ripple’s Xpring and OKEx, among others.

The new product, called Securitize Ready Program, is designed to accelerate the adoption of Securitize platform and DS Protocol for digitizing securities on the blockchain. It will help partners like lawyers, broker-dealers, and advisory firms issue and manage their digital securities.

“Securitize Ready frees partners to focus on their core business while providing their clients access to the industry’s most widely adopted issuance and lifecycle management technology,” said Steven Lucido, Head of the Securitize Ready Program. “It represents a win-win for both partners and the issuers they work with.”

The company said that its DS protocol will provide an automated compliance platform for security tokens and ensure the whole process is done within regulatory guidelines.

“Securitize’s DS Protocol maintains compliance during secondary trading and enables automated features such as share buy-backs, dividends, voting, and more,” Securitize said.

According to the company, the program currently includes services from various partners, such as Coinbase Custody, OpenFinance, Rialto Trading, CBlock Capital and others.

“Coinbase Custody is proud to provide Securitize customers with a service that couples Coinbase’s crypto asset security excellence with broker-dealer financial reporting expertise,” said Sam McIngvale, CEO of Coinbase Custody. “We believe that partnerships like this one with Securitize, a proven primary issuance and lifecycle management platform, help to drive adoption within traditional financial markets.”
