Coinone, Korea’s third-largest bitcoin exchange, has opened a brick-and-mortar cryptocurrency exchange called Coinone Blocks. The company claimed that the offline branch is the first brick-and-mortar trading floor for cryptocurrencies in the world.

The physical cryptocurrency exchange will provide ATM services and support for six different currencies.

The company said that Coinone Blocks offers not only all the services that consumers can expect through the online platform, but also face-to-face consulting on cryptocurrency trading. A large screen at the center gives visitors a glance at market information of six major cryptocurrencies. Currently, supported cryptocurrencies are BTC, BCC, ETH, ETC, Ripple’s XRP, and QTUM.

Coinone stated that consumers in Korea are recently calling for a more secure means to exchange cryptocurrencies. Coinone Blocks is intended to fulfill the needs of consumers who want to receive tangible services.

Coinone Blocks consultants can help customers with issues regarding digital currency transactions. They can also discuss related technologies and policies as well as the future of blockchain-based finance. The complex has a lounge and meeting rooms where blockchain-related meetings can take plac

Coinone Blocks is located in Yeouido, Yeongdeungpo District in southwest Seoul. Its operating hours are Monday through Friday from 10 am to 6 pm.

“We will lead the market with customer-oriented service through the opening of Coinone Blocks,” said Coinone CEO Cha Myung-hun. “The purpose of Coinone Blocks is to create a healthy and transparent ecosystem for digital currencies.”
