A16z crypto, venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz’s investment fund, has invested $15 million into blockchain startup MakerDAO (MKR).

Andreessen Horowitz’s a16z crypto, which was launched earlier this year, is a $300 million venture fund that invests in a range of companies from blockchain projects to initial coin offerings (ICO).

Silicon Valley venture capital firms Andreessen Horowitz and Union Square Ventures have reportedly urged the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to take an industry-friendly approach to initial coin offering (ICO) regulations.
