Singer Akon To Launch Cryptocurrency “Akoin” For Use In Senegal’s Crypto City
American singer, songwriter and businessman Akon is launching his own cryptocurrency for use in his “Akon Crypto City” in Senegal.
Akon, whose real name is Aliaume Damala Badara Akon Thiam, rose to prominence in 2004 following the release of “Locked Up,” the first single from his debut album Trouble.
