Hewlett Packard already offers companies various solutions to automate and manage data. Now, they’ve add a new blockchain service that will aid customers in manipulating data via controlled scale.

The new technology is called Mission Critical, a distributed ledger technology (DLT) which is set to be made available by 2018.  The solution hopes to offer businesses a safer blockchain technology, accounting for transactions that are streamed privately between transacting partners.

“We believe blockchain will be as fundamental to technology as the Internet,” says Raphael Davidson, HPE’s worldwide director for blockchain.

HPE claimed there are already a number of clients in the financial sector testing the Mission DLT product, but declined to name them.
