Crypto Markets Climb, But Ethereum, Litecoin Soar Into Double Digit Gains

It’s a green arrow morning in the cryptocurrency markets, as the top ten coins awoke and started heading up in price.

In early trading, bitcoin was at the $3,800 level, up more than two percent on heavy volume. While still in a narrow range, the move into positive territory was a good sign to start the year.

Ethereum continued its recent surge as it awaits its Jan. 16 scheduled updates. The second largest coin by market cap is now at $158, up close to six percent.

The bulls were running for Litecoin, up more than 12 percent as it continues its recent gains. It’s now more than $35 per single coin and gaining.
