Bitcoin At $7,400 Level As Market Continues To Rise
br>The up elevator continued for legacy bitcoin, as prices hit the $7,400 level for BTC single coins on some exchanges. It’s yet another all-time high for the coin, and raises the question of whether $10,000 per single coin is possible before the end of the year.
Bitcoin Cash is also booming, rising to the $682 level, a gain of more than 20 percent in the last 24-hours.

The highest price seen was $7,452.12 on the Bitstamp exchange at 6:42 am today. Bitstamp saw $126,044,000 of bitcoin change hands.
The lowest price seen was $6,830.00 on Bitfinex’s exchange at 2:36 pm yesterday. Bitfinex’s 24 hour volume was $468,211,000.
The average price on the surveyed exchanges, as weighed by volume, was $7,156.67.
Volatility was greater than average, with the BlockTribune Volatility Index coming in at 64.4. A higher number indicates greater price volatility with 50 describing an average day.
These statistics were consolidated from 5 different exchanges. It includes only BTC/USD trades and only on those exchanges that had at least 1% of the total volume of BTC/USD trades during the measurement period.
