Bitcoin Sits In Sideways Rut, As Other Digital Currencies Quiet
br>Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are back trading in a range, as everyone awaits the next big move up – or potentially, down.
At mid-morning, bitcoin sat in the mid-$11,000 range per single coin, barely budging off its Tuesday levels. Most of the other top ten in cryptocurrencies were up or down a few percentage points. The outlier was Stella, up 10% over the last 24 hours.

The highest price seen was $12,385.30 on the ZB.COM exchange at 5:36 am today. ZB.COM saw $52,169,100 of bitcoin change hands.
The lowest price seen was $10,370.50 on Huobi’s exchange at 9:07 pm yesterday. Huobi’s 24 hour volume was $140,739,000.
The average price on the surveyed exchanges, as weighed by volume, was $10,981.24.
Volatility was a bit lower than average, with the BlockTribune Volatility Index coming in at 43.2. A higher number indicates greater price volatility with 50 describing an average day.
These statistics were consolidated from 13 different exchanges. It includes only BTC/USD trades and only on those exchanges that had at least 1% of the total volume of BTC/USD trades during the measurement period.
