Blockchain AR Platform Scanetchain Announces Beta Launch Of Reward System

Augmented reality (AR) blockchain platform Scanetchain has announced that the beta version of its marker scanning reward system will become available once the next software update is completed.

Scanetchain is the first commercial decentralized application (DApp) developed through the NEM blockchain. It is a decentralized open platform that aims to disrupt the commerce industry by ensuring interoperability of advertising, shopping, contents, and social networking services using AR technology.

Scanetchain’s marker scanning reward system will allow users to participate and contribute to the overall ecosystem. Users will receive rewards with tokens by viewing online advertisements. Companies, in turn, will advertise their product online and offline using the AR advertising system, where all their products will become ad banners. Further details about the amount of rewards and how the rewards will be paid out will be announced closer to the pilot launch.

“By using the camera of smartphone people can scan every object around them and get instant success to the blockchain. Scanetchain assigns a scannable marker to each object and identifies all items around the user. So the user will be able to search for or buy something he interested in. In addition to the goods and items, you will also be able to determine the content that interests you.”

The company also announced that it has partnered with three tech startups to further grow the ecosystem and bring greater value to Scanetchain users. These include VodiX, which allows users to earn rewards, top up mobile data plans and make money transfers, BlockCommerce, a company that combines the power of blockchain with an innovative multi-commerce platform, and Nupay, a crypto to fiat payment service provider.
