Hdac Technology AG has appointed Coinsilium CEO Eddy Travia as an advisor to its Token Generation Event (TGE). The Hdac initial coin offering (ICO) started on November 27 and will run until December 22.

Backed by Hyundai BS&C, Hdac is a new cryptocurrency based on blockchain and Internet of Things (IoT). Hdac’s technology, which was developed by Korean company Double Chain, aims to protect IoT devices and their users from hacks, privacy invasion, and external threats, especially for transactions. Its hybrid blockchain technology is designed to offer a wide range of capabilities to ensure reliable connection and secured processing between devices.

Hdac has a new PoW mining algorithm (ePoW) that reduces mining monopolization and 3-minute blocks, amongst other differentiating features. It also introduces the concept of IoT contract, which allows a HDAC token to be repurposed for a specific function.

Travia is the CEO and co-founder of London-listed Coinsilium Group Limited, venture builder, investor and accelerator of blockchain startups. He’s an advisor to a number of blockchain and digital currency companies and regular speaker at Tech, Investments, FinTech, Bitcoin & Blockchain events and conferences worldwide including TEDx IE Madrid in 2016.

His expertise include investment strategy, early stage startups, seed funding, blockchain technology and applications, smart contracts, lean startup and agile models, deal structuring, emerging markets, private equity transactions, growth equity, digital currencies and ICO.

“We are excited to advise the talented Hdac team with their token generation event and we are impressed by Hdac’s ambitious objective to apply blockchain technology to significantly improve the reliability and the security of machine to machine payments in the fast-growing, multi-billion dollar IoT industry,” said Travia. “We look forward to contributing to the success of Hdac’s token generation event.”
