Blockchain Real Estate Startup Propy Names Alex Tieu As COObr>
Blockchain real estate startup Propy has appointed Alex Tieu as the company’s Chief Operations Officer (COO).
Based in Silicon Valley, Propy is a company that offers next-generation real estate transaction management solutions, such as its Transaction Platform for real estate professionals, Deed Registration for brokers and agents, and Blockchain Title Registry for governments. Propy’s platform facilitates connections between the seller, buyer, realtors, title agent, and/or notary to enable the seamless online purchasing of real estate.
Tieu served as the Head Broker at Movoto Real Estate, the second-largest online real estate brokerage in the United States. Before working at Movoto, Alex spent over a decade working as the Operating Partner for Keller Williams Downtown Los Angeles and as the Team Lead and Top Producer for Keller Williams Glendale. She managed more than 700 real estate professionals and oversaw the management of more than $2 billion in real estate transactions. She also worked at the White House for President Bill Clinton, Vice President Al Gore, and various members of Congress. At present, Tieu is a member of the Forbes Real Estate Council and is frequently featured as a speaker or a contributor at Harvard Business School, The Real Deal, Inman News, WomanUP and CAR (California Association of Realtors).
