Chamber of Digital Commerce Canada Names Tanya Woods Managing Director

Tanya Woods had been named managing director for the Chamber of Digital Commerce Canada, formed by a merger of the Blockchain Association of Canada (BAC) with the Chamber of Digital Commerce.

Woods was executive director and policy strategist of the BAC, Canada’s largest blockchain trade association. She will now be serving as the managing director of the Chamber of Digital Commerce Canada.

Woods previously worked for the Canadian government, BCE, Nintendo, and Microsoft.

“Canada’s blockchain leaders and government would like to see a strong and coordinated blockchain ecosystem that is ready and able to effectively collaborate with policymakers to ensure the industry in Canada will thrive,” Woods said.

The Chamber of Digital Commerce was established in July 2014  and has 200 companies.
