Circle Co-Founders Talk Back To Reddit On USDC Coin, Blockchain Issues

The co-founders of the Circle app, Jeremy Allaire and Sean Neville, hosted a Reddit Ask-me-Anything on cryptocurrency last Thursday.

This week, USDC surpassed $300 million in market cap and has earned support from six new companies, bringing to nearly 100 the number of exchanges, protocols, platforms, applications, wallets and service providers that are a part of the USDC ecosystem.

Launched in September, USDC is now the second largest stablecoin by market cap and a top 25 crypto asset. The CENTRE Consortium, a joint venture co-founded by Circle and Coinbase, introduced USDC to establish a standard for fiat on the Internet, and provides a governance framework and network for the global, mainstream adoption of asset-backed stablecoins.
