Voyager is a crypto-asset broker that provides retail and institutional investors with a turnkey solution to trade cryptocurrencies. It also offers a simple-to-use iOS application that allows commission-free trading of 18 of the largest and most liquid crypto assets. The company is headed by Stephen Ehrlich, the former CEO and founder of retail brokerage Lightspeed Financial, who also previously ran the professional trading arm of online stock broker E*Trade. Voyager’s other co-founders include Oscar Salazar, former Chief Technical Officer (CTO) at Uber, and Philip Eytan, an early Uber investor.
Psaropoulos has more than 20 years of experience across public accounting, investment banking, and strategic finance. His career started in public accounting as a CPA at PwC, then turning to investment banking working on large-cap M&A and public market capital raising transactions in the Technology, Media, and Telecom Group at Credit Suisse. Most recently, he played the role of CFO at the Global Debt Registry. Psaropoulos will oversee all finance, accounting, and treasury functions in his new role as CFO at Voyager.
Legg has over 30 years in the investment banking industry. He worked in both the public and private markets to public companies and achieved various goals such as the raising of over $7 billion of capital for Starbucks and Staples during their growth phases. For his new role, Legg will manage communication efforts in partnership with KCSA Strategic Communications, which powers Investor Relations and Public Relations.
“We are excited to add Evan and Mike to the team as this is the next step in achieving our strategic growth objectives,” Ehrlich said. “Together, with their extensive backgrounds, we will continue to differentiate Voyager’s turnkey digital asset trading platform, execute our international expansion, and generate shareholder value.”
