Crypto Investor Rights Law Firm to File Class-Action Lawsuit against Coinbase, Robinhood, Others
br>On Thursday, March 9, 2023, Cryptocurrency investor rights law firm CryptoLawyers.org revealed that it has commenced an investigation on behalf of customers of top U.S. crypto exchanges.
CryptoLawyers.org was formed in 2022 by long-time securities lawyer Tom Grady and trial lawyer Guy Burns to help cryptocurrency investors recover losses from investing in unregistered crypto securities.
In a press release, the law firm disclosed that it is getting ready for a potential lawsuit against the top crypto exchanges in the country, including Coinbase, Robinhood, Kraken, and others. According to the firm, they are currently conducting an investigation to determine if state and federal securities laws have been violated, as well as whether investors have received the necessary risk disclosures as required by such regulations.
Grady, a co-founder of the firm and one of the nation’s leading investment fraud attorneys, claims that the investigation they are launching is different from any lawsuit or investigation that has previously been publicized in the world of cryptocurrency.
“We believe Coinbase, Robinhood, and other exchanges have violated the law, and investors who lost money purchasing cryptocurrencies on their platforms may be entitled to recover those losses,” Grady said.
Burns, one of Florida’s Legal Elite “Best Company Lawyers” Super Lawyers, added that “what makes our case different from others is that we seek to enforce the agreements these companies had customers sign rather than challenge and, as a result, we believe our clients will be able to have their claims heard much more quickly than other legal claims out there.”
Customers of Coinbase, Robinhood, and other exchanges who purchased cryptocurrencies on their platforms and suffered losses are being urged by CryptoLawyers.org to get in touch and share details about their investments and for a free evaluation to see if they may have a claim that meets the law firm’s criteria for speedy filing and resolution.
