Crypto Markets Shed $15 Billion As Top Coins Suffer Double-Digit Losses

The cryptocurrency market took a huge hit today, with almost all the top ten coins suffering double-digit losses. As a whole, the crypto market lost more than $15 billion over the last 24 hours.

In early trading the price of bitcoin was down more than 7 percent at around $3,830, after trading as high as $4,210 on Saturday.

The rest of the top ten coins are showing losses between 10 and 20 percent. EOS is the biggest loser on the day, down by over 20%, followed by Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin, which are all down by more than 15 percent.
