Cryptocurrency Can Help Film Financing – A Panel Discussion At The Tribeca Film Festivalbr>
The Tribeca Film Festival saw the premiere of the first ethereum-financed feature film, Braid, the story of two sisters locked in a mansion with a psychotic friend.
Naturally, this new form of financing was much on the minds of attendees, who jammed a panel discussing the nuts and bolts of achieving similar results. The panel discussion on how technology can breed blockbuster films featured SingularDTV’s newly appointed VP of entertainment finance and development Dan Hyman, IBM’s media & entertainment industry CTO Peter Guglielmino, and Braid director Mitzi Peirone. The panel was moderated by veteran editor, writer and New York Times contributor Logan Hill.
