CryptoNumiz Art Platform Names Mark Feldman as Chief Executive Officerbr>
CryptoNumiz, a platform that combines the creation, collection, purchase and auctioning of art with blockchain technology, has announced the appointment of Mark Feldman as its new chief executive officer.
Ahead of the launch of its platform, Feldman will oversee the day-to-day operations of CryptoNumiz. Using art and blockchain to commemorate important events, CryptoNumiz enables members of its community, comprised of art creators, curators, collectors, enthusiasts and photographers, to propose events that are worthy of being commemorated by a unique, authenticated, forge-proof cryptocoin (a Numi).
A graduate of New York University, with an Executive MBA in Finance, Feldman will be able to draw upon nearly 30 years of experience in his new role. Founding Standard Capital Group in 2005, he was previously head of the investment banking department at Inteza Group and a former partner and managing director at Prime Charter Ltd.
“While it is still perceived as a very traditional and ‘analogue’ industry, there has never been a better time for the arts world to surge forward and embrace the world of digital, which will become increasingly appealing to those using the blockchain,” said Feldman. “I’m certainly very excited to lead CryptoNumiz in establishing itself as a driver of this change Now that the blockchain can help to prevent duplication of digital art, it can now serve as a means to allow non-traditional collectors the opportunity to enjoy the process of sourcing, collecting and auctioning art.”
