Bitcoin rallied from a low point on Friday, rising more than five percent and once again topping the $8,500 mark. The rising tide lifted all boats in the cryptocurrency top ten coins.
Bitcoin Cash was particularly robust, rising nearly 14 percent and heading back over the $1,000 mark. At mid-morning, BCC was at the $1,046 level after a rare dip into triple digits. Litecoin was also strong up nearly six percent to $160. Ether was a bit of a laggard, up more than three percent but still trading in the low $600 range.
