Japanese bitcoin exchange Coincheck adds Lisk support

Coincheck announced it is adding the new cryptocurrency Lisk (LSK) to its portfolio.

Users now can buy and sell and transfer LISK just like its existing offerings; Bitcoin, Ethereum, and DAO, which were added in March and May, 2016 respectively.

Unlike the other major cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ether, Ripple and Litecoin, for example, the Lisk is designed for application developers so that in its blockchain system can be integrated many other Java-based applications, including even games, social networks and “the internet of things” – network-connected everyday objects.

Coincheck is a Japanese bitcoin exchange operated by ResuPress.
